Abilities, Skills, and Weaknesses
Having been born part Voidsent from a vampiric line Dem is physically stronger, faster to the point of appearing as a blur, and can endure and last longer in physical activities over a normal person. Furthermore his endurance is bolstered by a healing factor that can regenerate most wounds within seconds to a few days depending on the severity of the injury. This was further bolstered by the draconic aether he has absorbed.Due to being a Kitsune as well Dem can shift in and out of his human form and a fox form.Magically Dem has also learned how to use a form of blood control that allows him to use his blood or another's to form his katana Dotatsu which has a life stealing property. Furthermore Dem's sanguimancy allows him to lift his own blood for limited flight, total control over his own blood to stop bleeding and force out poisons.Finally Dem's echo provides what people would expect from the echo while also not only protecting him from tempering but the protection expands to protect him from any mental, emotional, and spiritual control or manipulation.Skill wise Dem is an expert swordsman and hand to hand combatant. He is also a skilled tracker and airship pilot and maintains his ship with upgrades and repairs. Furthermore he is pretty good at blitzball, guitar playing, smithing bladed weapons, and singing.While Dem has a vast amount of aether he still needs to feed regularly either on blood, or through normal conventional means or else risk losing control over himself and fall into an instinctual need to feed. Another glaring weakness Dem has is his body rejects other healing magic outside it's own means of self healing such as his healing factor, drinking blood through Dotatsu or normal means. Any other type of magical healing magic actually harms him.Dotatsu 怒竜: A Blade forged from an ancient katana infused with dragon eyes and imbued with Dem’s soul creating a weapon soul bound to him. The Dragon hilted blade can be summoned from Dem’s blood and soul with a flick of his hand. Dotatsu listens only to Dem or Kane’s wills and no one else. This blade is durable and sharp enough to rend most metals like a dragon’s fangs or claws while also absorbing the life force of those it cuts, much like Dem’s own vampiric vampiric abilities.Ketsueki no Dotatsu 血液 の 怒竜 : Dem’s blade at max power. The blade is bathed in his blood and reshapes itself into a bloody dragon-like claw. Once unleashed all the blood Dotatsu has fed on or bathed in as well as all the blood Dem has fed on will be released creating a blood pool on the ground. Dem can manipulate the blood into spikes and blades, barriers, and even use it to heal himself. Any fresh blood spilled while Ketsueki no Dotatsu is in effect will add to the pool of blood. Any bit of blood evaporated will remain till the effect is over and can also be used as a weapon especially if breathed in.

History:Dem was a Xaela born on the Steppe alongside his twin sister Ashwrynn and not known until recently a twin brother named Arik. He was born to his voidsent hunter mother Dawa and his father Xanatos Orl, a Dark Knight who was being possessed by the Void Sent King Anthelios, also known as Adam Dracul. The night he and his siblings were born baby Dem was forcefully rejoined with his 13th’s reflection Kane.With Arik taken and memory of his erased, the twins Dem and Ash were raised by their mother and their grandparents Khajin and Antonio Fox, a man from Tural who was a member of the Ryukaze clan. While it wasn’t the easiest childhood due to being considered cursed children, the twins knew love thanks to their family.Alas on an adventure to Sharlayan the twins and their family were dealt a horrible pain as the Garlean’s Vlllth Legion Project Chimera Division lead by Olivia Roma, Dem’s own long lost Uncle Khadan and their friend Cassius sas Meridus killed Antonio in pursuit of the twins due to their hybrid nature. For the next few years Dem would train with his mother and the Ryukaze in the Far East as both a voidsent hunter and adventurer so that he could strike out on his own to avenge his Grandfather.Dem would travel the world in pursuit of the Vllth while protecting those who needed help from voidsent or other monsters. Once such was the child S’eraphine who after losing her family would join Dem and his family as his adopted sister. Dem would also befriend Pyre a Dragon in Coerthas who would go on to be his sworn brother and best friend. Dem would gain the echo at this point. Eventually Dem and Ash would reunite after her time in Sharlayan and she would bring a friend named Sofia, secretly a Kitsune named Kasumi who Dem would fall in love with and her and she him. The group would encounter Meridus after a year together as a party. On that fateful night Kasumi gave her life to save Dem from Meridus, both men having nearly died in their fight with one another. Kasumi made Dem promise to live for both of Dem.Dem would spiral after Kasumi’s death though he help to his promise thanks in part to his friends and family. Eventually he’d find Meridus again and after being captured, tortured, and even given a trigger phrase to shut him down, he would manage to kill Meridus avenging Kasumi and his Grandfather partially. After these events he would meet and fall in love with Kaera Riverthrone and together with Dawa kill Uncle Khadan after Dem had upgraded his katana Dragokin with two dragon eyes. Kaera afterwards would become the head of the Shinbon Clan and expose the Voidsent Cult that corrupted the clan and warred with the Ryukaze, the Mazoku, headed by Dem’s 13th self’s reflection Ambrose whose true name was Abel.After these events Dem would Marry Kaera and join her for some time to relax as a blitzball player for Sharlayan and eventually the Azim Steppe Naadominators. And during this time thanks to Pyre’s investment strategies, S’era’s ingenuity, and the scapes of magitek and various other tech the family had collected over the years, The old castle they based out of when not at shinbon was converted into the airship known as the Dracofox. Dem spent his time learning the ins and outs to maintain his new home, and it turned out he was a natural pilot too. He’d form a crew of his family and friends and new arrival Hayashi.Eventually Dem, haunted by Ambrose and Kane, would face his past in his inner world and absorb dragonkin into himself, turning it into his soul blade named Dotatsu. And with him and Kane finally in lock step he would reunite his family, his team and face of against both Ambrose and his father who had arrived to use an energy called Dynamis to forcefully rejoin the Source in a goal to stop Death from ever occurring again due to the trauma of losing his own wife and Kane’s mother the night Kane was born. Twice Dem and the gang stopped Anthelios and Ambrose, with the final time within the 13th itself where Dem spent five years trapt after Ambrose played on Dem thinking Kaera was in danger and tricked Dem into a fight where Ambrose revealed an enthralled and undead Kasumi. Kasumi would eventually free herself of her shackles and together Dem and her would lead a rebellion and get word to their family and friends to face Anthelios and ambrose in one last fight.The fight was a clash of A Void God King of time, his two sons as near DemiGods, the rest of his children and their allies where Anthelios regained his persona as Adam Dracul and refused to use his full power to slay his children and gave his life to save Ash from Ambrose who sought the throne and the Dynamis collected to make himself a God and rule the World. Dem would chase ambrose alien as the others recovered and helped fully revive Kasumi. On Ultima thul the brothers would fight for the final time where dme and Kane slew Ambrose reducing him to just a figment of a soul and releasing all the other souls he had claimed back to the lifestream with the help of Dynamis, though interacting with that energy harmed Dem and stunted his own powers for some time till the Dynamis was used up and beaten out of him months later.Still things were not peaceful. A rival Clan of the Ryukaze lead by a man named Jigoku Obake alongside Marius roma the brother of the deceased Olivia roma whom Ash had killed attacked the Ryukaze killing many within the clan and many of the Dracofox’s allies. The next few months would lead to battles against both factions with S’era personally killing Jigoku, Kasmi regaining her memories including that Dem unknowingly killed the Kitsune’s lover who worked with Jigoku. Kasumi would leave not out of hate, but to rediscover who she was despite Dem wish her to stay as the two with Kaera’s blessing had rekindled their love.Months would pass as Dem and the Crew hunted Roma where Dem would meet and in a whirlwind romance with another half voidsent named Zeri. Kaera had given them her blessing seeing as Dem and her were both poly and had an open marriage. Like Dem Zeri was haunted by the Garleans. In time though they would force her own captor, a mad scientist and monster named Erik, to flee into the shadows and kill Marius while shutting down his Moon Cannon plan after tracking him down in Heritage Found.Again though Dem’s life was not easy. He won a tournament in Solution Nine along with the Dracofox crew to gain an item to help restore the Ryukaze lands. But he also had to face off with and learn the truth about his secret and hidden brother Arik, Ambrose’s source self who was through a deal made by Anthelios raised by Acsians and corrupted into a half sin eater. Dem beat Arik barely though Arik revealed he had what remained of Ambrose captured and vanished. After that Dem and some friends of him and his wife Kaera found themselves embroiled in a conflict involving Auspie and yokai where one of their friends; a Monkey Auspice named Hyoji was captured and held for trial for deeds he was as the group would discover manipulated for doing. Dem would also reunite with Kasumi, their love sparking again, though thanks to a Vidraal named Telsetto those plans were put on hold after Telsetto revealed his role in Hyoji’s past and killed Dem after a battered Dem had taken an earlier shot ment for Hyoji’s friend and jailer a kitsune name Setsuko. But, Dem would not stay dad and thanks to a Yokai mask that brought out his soul as a Kitsune, he was reborn as a Half voidsent (Vampire) kitsune. The Team would unit under Kaera’s call and kill Telsetto avenging both Hoji and Dem as well as Hyoi and Kasumi’s homeland.Dem now is spending his time taking over as head of the Ryukaze and rebuilding it while also learning to fox from a woman named Rada, his kitsune guardian from birth Daichi, some advice from Kasumi among other foxes as well. He is still on the look out for the Mazoku, the Roma family, and of course Arik
